Who am I actually paying? Who appears on my card statement?
Our "Merchant of Record" is Paddle. They are who your bank shows and Paddle is who issues your receipt.
What payment methods do you accept?
Whatever our fulfillment partner, Paddle, offers in your country at the moment you check out.
Why is Paddle the seller and not you?
Electronic sales get taxed differently in every single target country - Paddle handles tax, filings, and liability for every one, a near-impossible feat for an indie project.
Why does my total differ from the price shown?
The price we show is the net price. The VAT/sales tax on top depends on where you are and whether you are buying as a business. The checkout shows your total before you pay. We felt that is the fairest way to do it: as an autónom@, you get the VAT/sales tax back, and we can offer the lowest possible price this way.
I am an autónomo with a NIF. How do I avoid being charged Spanish IVA?
Enter your NIF in the Paddle checkout before you pay. If it validates, reverse charge applies and no IVA is added.
Where do I enter my NIF / VAT number at checkout?
There is an "add tax ID" link in the payment frame, above the card fields.
I forgot to enter my NIF and was charged IVA. Can it be fixed?
Paddle usually do this - please contact their customer support.
Where do I get my invoice / factura?
Paddle emails it when you pay. Every Paddle receipt comes with a link to your invoice, which you can download at any time.
Can I deduct the subscription as a business expense?
It is software you use for your business, so we strongly suspect the answer will be yes.
Can I pay in a currency other than euros?
Paddle prices in your local currency where it can.
Is my card data stored by Autónomotools?
No. Your payment data never touches our servers. The payment form belongs to Paddle and the card details go straight to them.
Can I purchase a subscription directly from you via Bizum / bank transfer / SEPA direct debit?
