Is anything here professional tax or legal advice?
No. It is orientation and financial education, built carefully and tested hard, but it is still not advice and does not come with a professional's liability behind it. For 100% binding information, talk to a licensed gestor or lawyer.
Can I use your calculations as evidence with Hacienda or Seguridad Social?
Probably not. They are estimates from the figures you typed, and no authority has any reason to accept them. What they are good for is understanding a number, or a letter from the tax office, before you react to it.
Are you affiliated with Seguridad Social, AEAT or any public body?
No, not in any way. We read what they publish, and we link to it.
What happens if a calculation here turns out to be wrong and it costs me money?
We would want to know immediately (please get in touch!!!), we would fix it, and we would say publicly what was wrong and for how long.
We could not, however, compensate you: the site is a tool, not an advisor, and the terms say so.
That is exactly why the sources are on every page and why we keep saying to check a big decision with a professional.
