Are there any discounts?

Calculations under Spain's minimum wage (SMI) are free in all the calculators, including the paid ones.

Is Autónomotools a substitute for a gestor?

No. The numbers presented here are for orientation only. They have been painstakingly tested, but they can still contain mistakes. They are not professional advice. Autónomotools was not programmed by a licensed gestor. Do talk to a licensed professional before making any life-changing decisions.

I am in trouble with the tax office or Seguridad Social. Can you help me?

MEI (Mecanismo de Equidad Intergeneracional)

MEI is an extra Social Security contribution that funds the state pension reserve. In 2026 it is 0.90% of your contribution base, paid in full by the self-employed. It rises 0.1 points a year to 1.2% in 2029 and buys you no additional pension rights.
